Remember those Greymatter pages I thought lost forever? I found them languishing deep in the hidden directories of my hard drive. They are now
here.
This is an archive of an old blog that is here because the GeoCities site it was originally on was deleted for some reason unbeknownst to me. Most of the links likely won't work, none of the photographs that originally accompanied the entries are present, and the template I worked so long and hard to create for this blog is lost to the digital ether, replaced by this stock Blogger template.
Ah, well.
My second Blogger-based Blogstomp can be read
here. Unfortunately (unless found on a backup disk somewhere) the years that Blogstomp existed as a Greymatter-based blog will never be seen again.
Oh, yeah, the comments have all been destroyed as well, so feel free.
On another note, I figured out why my server-side includes weren't working before. Forgot to name the files .shtml instead of .html. Duh.
Remember what I said about the last entry being the last one of the year? Well, I lied.
Seems I got the longest-ever Greymatter error that anyone has ever seen. This might take longer than expected.
This'll be the last post of the year, and (hopefully) the last Blogger-created post. I'm starting to work on
Greymatter. Wish me luck.
Turns out the big news on the internet today is
Blogger's cracker problems. Yet another reason to switch to
Greymatter: decentralization.
Merry Christmas!
I tell ya... the family togetherness and stuff is great, but my dogma tolerance is at the breaking point.
I went to
Monster and checked out my
career horoscope. This is what it said. Read into it what you will:
Unlike other people who often think they must have been many things in former lives to justify or to make up for what they are in this one, you're the one who felt that you have always been and always been the same since the beginning of time. Well, it explains a lot. A single lifetime can't be blamed for coming up with the foolish, creative, stubborn, strange and occasionally brilliant likes of you. Happy holidays.
