Second Life Magazine

In 2004, I published three issues of a ‘zine that covered “the art, culture and business of used, vintage, antique, recycled and repurposed goods” in the city of Toronto. Second Life garnered an immediate following with its look at how second-hand goods entered people’s everyday lives through fashion, design, environmental concerns and a desire to fuel the local economy. Especially popular was the magazine’s “Re:Visited” section which invited readers to share the stories of books, music, video games and movies found in secondhand haunts throughout the city.

Second Life was also honoured with two “Zine of the Month” picks in indie-culture mag Broken Pencil.
